DESCRIPTION
Blackbird Cottage is a perfect cottage for a couple or a group of up to four looking to relax on Seneca Lake.
You can cook in the fully outfitted kitchen, enjoy a meal at the dining table or sit in the living room and take in the lake view through the large window overlooking the patio and the lake.
The outdoor space has a great patio for dining, just outside the back door of the cottage, and enjoying the view of the lake below. The small cabana-style building down by the water is a great place to relax out of the heat of the sun. The cabana has a small beverage fridge, a seating area, heat/ac, and is the perfect spot to observe the water if you'd prefer to stay out of the weather. There is also a secondary deck attached to the cabana with outdoor seating areas and a firepit right on the shore that you can use for a cozy evening fire.
Whether visiting the area for our wonderful wineries, getaway, romantic weekend, or fishing our world-famous lake trout, you will love Blackbird Cottage on Seneca Lake!

**DOCK USEAGE:
This home has a Permanent dock.
Guest assumes liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves. A boat hoist is not provided.
**Seasonal amenities: canoe and some outdoor furniture are available seasonally and are available for use from mid-May to October

Blackbird Cottage is a nice cozy little house. The best part of the property is the view of Seneca Lake, and the three levels of outdoor space available. A few steps down from the house is a patio with a large dining table and umbrella, perfect for meals overlooking the lake. Down another flight of steps is the cabana, with a couch and chairs (perfect for staying indoors, yet near the lake, on a rainy day) and Adirondack chairs on a small terrace in front of it. A few more steps down from that is the gravel lakeshore, with several more Adirondack chairs and a fireplace, and a dock with a two-person swing where you can sit and read, soak up the sun, and feel the breeze coming in across the water.
Another wonderful stay at Blackbird Cottage! So cozy, wonderful views of the lake and lots to do around the area. We can't say enough how much we love staying here!
We had a wonderful stay at Blackbird Cottage! The home was spotless, cozy, and offered the most breathtaking view of Seneca Lake. We loved starting our mornings with beautiful sunrises and ending the day with cocktails on the dock. The complimentary Seneca Lake shopping bag was such a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect—centrally situated for kayaking, hiking, wine tasting, and more. There's so much to do in the area that we can't wait to come back!
A gem on Seneca Lake. Truly enjoyed the quiet, peaceful lake. We took advantage of the beautiful weather to canoe, swim and grill. The cottage has everything you need for cooking and relaxing. Great location, close to many wineries and craft brews.
The cottage was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, especially the firepit. There are about 30 stairs to the firepit and the dock. We would rent this cottage again.
We loved this private cottage on the lake. Great amenities, comfortable beds, beautiful views. Perfect for a 2 or 3 night getaway. We definitely want to come back!
It felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. It is a great space to kick back and relax. My wife was very excited to find a pamphlet in their suggestion binder for a local farm that provided us a fun day of horseback riding and pumpkin picking with donkeys. Overall, we had a great time and would return to the cottage.
The cottage was a wonderful place to stay. It was a great location with the lake view and things to do that were convenient. The cottage itself was so cozy and it felt like our second home. Thank you so much for this great property-we will be reserving again!
Well appointed and clean cottage perfectly centered on Lake Seneca between Geneva and Walkin's Glenn. The cottage was spotless and included lots of amenities. The highlight of the cottage was the backyard, fire pit, and dock with swing.
My daughter and I had an amazing time. This cozy lil cottage was perfect for us. We will see you again real soon
