We invite you to vacation at Dragonfly Landing on Seneca Lake! This gorgeous home on the shores of Seneca is sure to delight you and make your vacation dreams come true.
Dragonfly is set on several acres of private land, tucked beside a private vineyard that belongs to the home, and has 500' of private beach. Pulling in the driveway from the road, you'll immediately feel like you are transported into your own private paradise. You'll drive in the long paved driveway, crossing over the meandering stream via a bridge or two and pull up to the house. The house is set in a rural wooded area, so you will encounter wildlife: you may see some deer, squirrels, raccoons, etc and you will definitely see plenty of ducks and geese on the lawn and in the water--these are all just a part of lake life in the country.
From the front entry door, you'll enter the spacious entry room with closets to hang your coat and a spot for your shoes. To the right you'll find the first floor half bath and laundry. You'll enter the Kitchen with all of the amenities you'll need for preparing your home-cooked meals. The Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dinnerservice for 10 persons and has a spacious Island with bar stools for spending time snacking together or watching the cook make meals. There is a small sitting area on the one end of the Kitchen, with windows looking out over the lake.
From the Kitchen, you can enter the Sunroom where you'll find an electric fireplace, armchairs for cozying up with a book, and a desk for the computer work you couldn't leave at home. The Sunroom has a patio door that leads out onto an attached deck with outdoor Dining furniture where you can dine Al Fresco in the warmer months.
The Living Room has Cathedral ceilings and is quite cozy and comfortable with large lounging couches and chairs. There is large gas fireplace in the Living Room for using on chily nights, a large screen TV for watching your favorite movies, and windows and patio doors leading out toward the lake. The patio doors open onto a roofed porch area where you can sit and watch the lake or you can walk the brick path to the lakeshore and dock.
The Dining Room is tucked in behind the Living Room and comfortably seats 10. Walking back the hall from the Dining Room and Living Room, you'll find the large, very spacious Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, gas fireplace, and windows overlooking the lake. There is an exit door from the Master Bedroom out onto a small patio area where the hot tub is warm and ready for your relaxation.
Attached to the Master Bedroom is the Master bath with a Double sink and walk-in tiled shower. There is a small bar fridge and microwave for guests to use in the Master Bedroom/bath as well.
The stairs to the second floor of the home go up from the Living Room. At the top of the stairs you'll walk into the large Balcony sitting area. There is a desk/workstation here as well as comfortable chairs for lounging. The crown jewel of the balcony area is the Baby grand piano. From the railings of the balcony, you can look down into the Living Room below or out the windows and view the lake.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 can be found on the north side of the Balcony area. Bedroom 3 is very spacious with a King bed, mini fridge, microwave and an attached full bath. This full bath has a tub/shower and a large walk-in closet.
Bedroom 2 can be found across the hall. This bedroom is beautifully cozy with a Double/Full bed and a large sky light letting in lots of natural light.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 can be found at the south end of the Balcony area. Bedroom 4 has a King size bed and a private outdoor balcony with french doors. This outdoor balcony overlooks the yard and the lake. Bedroom 4 has an attached bath as well with a shower.
Bedroom 5 is at the end of the hall and doubles as a billiards room. This large room has a Queen bed, a pool table, a foosball table and a counter height table for a game of cards. There is a full bath just outside the door to Bedroom 5 and this bath has a double sink and a shower.
One of the best features of Dragonfly Landing is all of the outdoor areas. Set in several acres, there are walking paths/bridges that cross the small creeks running through the property. There is an outdoor pickle ball court with basketball hoop, kayaks to use on the lakefront, the hot tub, and of course the cabana. The cabana down on the lakefront has a bar area and large screen TV...the perfect spot for a drink in between boat rides or in the evenings. The cabana has a large attached patio area with outdoor furniture for relaxing on. There is a firepit area down the shoreline from the house.
The hot tub is located up close to the house, on the north side, on the patio outside of the Master bedroom.
The yard between the lake and the house is large and is the perfect spot for yard games. The path from the house leads to the large dock and you are welcome to bring a boat and tie up to the dock or the whip system. With 500' of private beach front, you'll feel like you are in your own secluded paradise....there is nothing quite like this spot on any of the Finger Lakes! This is a rare find!
*Air conditioning is provided through wall units in the main living areas and wall or window units in 3 of the bedrooms. Bedroom 3 is not air conditioned.
*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest. If you run out, you will be responsible for purchasing more according to the needs of your group
**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.
**No pets or animals allowed at any time.
**No parties allowed at any time.
**Smoking prohibited except in outdoor areas.
**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS. ONLY 10 GUESTS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME!

**DOCKS: A dock is provided, you are solely responsible for ensuring docks, and/or mooring facilities are adequate.

Joleens listing was absolutely beautiful. We rented it for a long girls weekend and it did not disappoint! The views were breathtaking, the house was extremely clean and the recommendations give in the home guide were a big hit. The drive way is a bit steep, but plenty of parking. Its private and very peaceful. Would love to come back in the summer to utilize the awesome pier and outdoor bar and eating area. We loved our stay.

We had a couple issues, after a power outage. The Internet service and TVs were out. With some young children, we needed at least one TV working. Ruth was marvelous. She responded and followed up to make sure everything was working for us.

The stay at Dragonfly Landing was fantastic. Our family voted hands down it was the best yet. We were able to fish and just be a family. It's a lovely property. Well maintained and accessible for all.
The house was great. The layout was great for the family to spread out yet be together. It was clean and the location was convenient. The property was beautiful and the access to the lake easy and convenient. We loved being able to use the kayaks and the property was close to the lake and flat enough to use the yard. There was so much to do! Wineries, ice cream and local stores, Watkins Glen. We loved it all!

All communications were timely, efficient, complete, helpful. The house was just as described. When I somehow messed up the digital lock and couldnt get into the house upon arrival, I got a call in response to my voice mail very promptly and the problem was quickly solved, easily. Everything was seamless. I appreciated the links to dining, even though we were so happy at the house that we didnt dine out. We tried calling a few restaurants but they were fully booked because of the holiday weekend and staffing challenges.

I highly recommend Dragonfly Landing. My small family and I were very comfortable, felt easily at home, greatly enjoyed the beautiful setting and the house itself, to the point that we cooked and ate nearly all meals there during our stay, even though that had not been our plan. Dragonfly is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is stocked with every appliance, cookware, dishes, and utensils you might want. House is well laid out. Back porch is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.
The house is beautiful, comfortable, well furnished, in a lovely setting and easy to access. It serves as a convenient base from which to explore the Finger Lakes, and it is not far from Rochester, where my eldest grandson is a sophomore whose my daughter, middle grandson and I were visiting for Fall Break. We cooked dinner and breakfast all days of our stay, even though that was not our plan.

The house itself is gorgeous, well-stocked, well-furnished, with lots of toys and amenities like a piano, kayaks, hot tub, seating areas, etc. The kitchen was a joy to work in and the outdoor space was truly spectacular. The lake views were restorative and the private feeling of the property helped us all relax and enjoy our vacation.

Also we were very pleased with the supplies that were made available to us, it helps so much with the packing and travel needed with coming from a distance of over 3 & 4 hours.

Loved having the extra property for grandchildren to run & play. Everything was perfect. We did use the kayaks & loved having them available, however wished, for the younger children, especially that access to the lake would have been clearer of grass, weeds etc. 'Perhaps this is not possible in this lake but we did all our swimming off the boats we rented. We did come prepared with water shoes. Loved the gazebo and surrounding space as well.
Lovely place, plenty of bathrooms & bedrooms. Especially convenient when we gather our 3 grown children & their children. Lovely to have king & queens size beds! Everyone can be comfortable.

The house was perfect. The lakefront setting was absolutely beautiful. The house was a great size for our group. Each couple had their own bathroom. We were able to cook many family meals in the large and well stocked kitchen. It was so nice to have the use of the kayaks and life jackets so that we could enjoy the lake each day. It was convenient that all general supplies were provided such as dish soap, hand soap etc. This was one of the nicest rentals that we have stayed in over the years! Dragonfly landing is an amazing property. There is lots to do around the house as well as nearby. There are plenty of wineries for wine tasting. The place has a basketball court which the kids had a blast around. Fully equipped with a hot tub, basket ball court and a kids playroom and tons of games there is never a dull moment. Joleen was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend this property and we look forward to booking it again.

**In the event of a cancellation, it is necessary to notify Linger Hospitality as soon as possible. Bookings cancelled at least 60 days prior to the start date of a guests stay will be refunded in full, less the processing fee (percentage of reservation) and the damage insurance ($59), if applicable. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to the start date will receive 50% refund less the processing fee and damage insurance, if applicable. Cancellations received after the 30 day time period will not receive a refund. No refunds will be made for early departures or late arrivals.
