The View Alone on Keuka Lake

This quaint and cozy cottage was built in 1925 by the current owner's family, and once you see this view, you can understand why they built on this spot and have kept it all these years.  The cottage faces toward Keuka Lake's Bluff Point and has a view that spans the lake in both directions.  You not only look west at the end of the bluff, the widest point of the lake, you can also look north right up the east fork of the lake. That means you can enjoy sunrise AND sunset!  Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening while watching the sunset colors on the beach or, if you're an early riser, grab that cup of coffee and head out to watch the sunrise.

Don't worry, the gorgeous view isn't the only thing this property offers! The delightful kitchen with its red and white checked walls and beautiful old cabinetry is fully stocked and has a stove/oven, refrigerator and dishwasher.
There is a full bathroom just off of the entry hallway, by the kitchen, with a small walk in shower.

From the Kitchen, you'll walk into the Living Room which faces toward the lake and all the beautiful views of Keuka.  There are 3 bedrooms off of the Living Room.  Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and is attached to Bathroom 2, which is a full bath with a tub/shower combo and washer and dryer.
Bedroom 2, with a Queen size bed, also has an entry off of the Living Room and is also attached to Bathroom 2 via a doorway.
Bedroom 3 has a Double bed and comes off of the Living Room on the opposite side of the cottage from the other two bedrooms.

From the Living Room, you'll walk out onto the lovely enclosed porch.  The porch has a dining area that seats 6 and a sitting area with windows all around to bring the scenes from the lake into the house. 
  
The property is level with only a few steps from the cottage to the beach. The lake is shallow and slopes gradually at this point so it is ideal for children.  There is a charcoal grill available for use.

You can walk or bike with ease on the private lower road. The back yard grass provides additional play space for children.  The parking area is attached to the back yard, just off of the street.

*Municipal water is not available and we recommend buying water to drink since the home is on a private well

*Airconditioning is provided via central air
*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest.  If you run out, you will be responsible for purchasing more according to the needs of your group

**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25. 
**No pets or animals allowed at any time.  
**No parties allowed at any time.  
**Smoking prohibited except in outdoor areas.  
**Parking for 3 vehicles only!
**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS.

****DOCK USEAGE:
This home has a seasonal dock which is not available for use from October to Mid-May.  Seasonal docks are made for loading/offloading passengers only and cannot be used to secure watercraft overnight or for any length of time.  
Guest assumes liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.
