This Scandinavian style cabin on Seneca Lake is a wonderful spot for your next Seneca lake vacation. Tucked into a wooded area on the lake, this cabin has room for a group of 8 with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a game room above the garage.
Stugan has a large open yard space between the cabin and the lake, a great green space for outdoor yard games and a place to let the kids run. There is a ropes course on the side of the yard for the little ones to practice their balance, a firepit with Adirondack chairs in the yard with expansive views of the lake below, and a large outdoor dining table on the back porch....this home makes outdoor living enjoyable with the sound of wind in the trees, the waves splashing in the lake, and the wildlife that can be observed from the cabin, the porch, or the yard.
The Kitchen is open with a cathedral ceiling and has a cozy corner with a gas fireplace and sitting area. The Dining room and Living room are adjacent to the Kitchen and have windows overlooking the lake on 3 sides. The large Main floor Bedroom, with King bed, is connected to the Living area through a set of double glass doors which allows in a view of the lake or draw the curtains for some privacy.
The Main floor has a Full Bath with a tub/shower and Bedroom 2 is just around the corner, this bedroom has a Queen bed.
The stairway to the upstairs Loft space comes off of the Kitchen and the Loft has a couch, TV area, and plenty of kids toys.
The Lower level/basement has 2 additional bedrooms, both with King size beds. There is a second Full bath in the lower level along with a laundry. The Lower level patio is accessible from the basement and this patio has a large outdoor dining table and lounge chairs....a great place to dine al fresco in the evenings or to spend time outside if rain is in the forecast.
The garage itself is not available for guests to use but guests are welcome to use the second floor rec room in the garage. This room is large and spacious with some basic weight equipment, a treadmill, and a kids play area.
Stugan sits above the lake, looking down on the lakefront below. You'll have your own private lakefront area, which is accessible by crossing the yard and following the winding concrete pathway to the lake below. This pathway is set into the hill and will be a bit of a trek for elderly persons but there is a hand rail to assist. The gravel beach area allows you to walk right into the water from the shoreline and there is a dock available for you to use as well as a deck area, connected to the dock, with an outdoor picnic table for having lunch on the lake. The gravel beach area is excellent for allowing little ones to wade into the water.
If you're looking for a bit of quiet respite on Seneca Lake, this modern cabin may just be the spot for you. The cabin is off of a private gravel lake road and tucked into the trees. We do recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle, if possible, because of the grade of the driveway from the road to the cottage. There is an additional parking area available at the top of the driveway, by the road, and if you do not have an all wheel drive, we recommend parking in this parking area.

*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest. If you run out, you will be responsible for purchasing more according to the needs of your group
**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.
**No pets or animals allowed at any time.
**No parties allowed at any time.
**Smoking prohibited except in outdoor areas.
**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy AT ALL TIMES. NO EXCEPTIONS. ONLY 8 GUESTS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME!
**Parking for 5 vehicles only.
**DOCKS: A dock is provided, you are solely responsible for ensuring docks, and/or mooring facilities are adequate.
Guest assumes liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.

**In the event of a cancellation, it is necessary to notify Linger Hospitality as soon as possible. Bookings cancelled at least 60 days prior to the start date of a guests stay will be refunded in full, less the processing fee (percentage of reservation) and the damage insurance ($59), if applicable. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to the start date will receive 50% refund less the processing fee and damage insurance, if applicable. Cancellations received after the 30 day time period will not receive a refund. No refunds will be made for early departures or late arrivals. By booking, you agree to these terms and conditions of cancellation.
*A rental agreement will be sent to the guest via email immediately after booking. This rental agreement will need to be initialed by the guest before entry can be allowed into the home.
*Check in is 4:00 P.M. Check out at 10:00 A.M. Check in and Check out times MUST BE PROMPT unless arrangements are made otherwise with the reservationist.
*Reservation hold payment is 50% of the reservation amount, due at the time of reservation. Payment due in full 30 days before check in.
*Required fees include the processing fee and our hospitality fee. The hospitality fee covers all linens for the beds, one set of towels/washcloths per guest, and toiletries for your stay as well as cleaning service and laundry service for after your departure. All beds will be outfitted with linens before you arrive. Beach towels are not provided.
