Description

Lake Shore Lodge is a magnificent lodge located on Keuka Lake's coveted East Bluff Dr, just outside of the village of Penn Yan.  This gorgeous and spacious home is situated right on Keuka Lake with 200' of private lake front!  Lake Shore Lodge main house has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, making it the perfect choice for large family groups, weekend retreats, and large groups of friends!  The house layout is cozy enough as well to include smaller groups and not feel overly spacious.  The small guest cottage down on the lake shore sleeps 2 persons during the late spring, summer and early fall months and has it's own full bath.(The cottage is not available from October-mid May)

The first floor features a wonderful Living Room/Great Room with cathedral ceilings and 3 sets of glass patio doors facing out onto the lake and that walk out onto the deck overlooking the lake.  The deck has several picnic tables for dining, a gas grill, and several Adirondack chairs for sitting and enjoying the view....the perfect spot for enjoying dinner al fresco.

The Kitchen, Living Room, and Dining Room are all open living space on the first floor and the Kitchen has a large sit-up peninsula to add extra space for dining.  The kitchen is fully stocked and has plenty of pantry room, cabinet space, dinner service and the pots and pans you'll need to cook up those delicious meals as well as a bar sink in the corner to help with prep.  The Living Room has several couches and arm chairs, a TV and a gas fireplace for cool evenings and ambience.

From the front entry and the Living Room, you'll go up a flight of stairs to the second floor and the Master suite and balcony.  The large balcony area looks out over the Living Room and the lake and has a Single bed.  The Master Suite is quite large and spacious with a King size bed, several closets (including a walk in) and a Single trundle bed.  The attached bathroom is a full bath with shower.

Following the hallway on the Main floor back from the Kitchen, you'll find the laundry and a full bath off to your right.  The full bath has a tub/shower combination and lots of built in cabinets.  To the left you will find the doorway to Bedroom 2 with a Queen size bed, large closet and a TV.  At the end of the hall is Bedroom 3, which also has a Queen bed, large closets, TV and a door to the outside.

Going back to the kitchen, you'll access the doorway to the Lower level.  At the bottom of the stairs is a large open family room/living room with a fireplace, large screen TV and doors out onto the lower level deck.  From the lower level deck you can also access the kids outdoor play area, with a fenced in playset for all of the small children in your group, from the multiple sets of french doors.  The Lower level family room is open to the second full, eat-in kitchen.  Again, following the hallway out of the second kitchen you'll find the 3rd Full Bath off to your right with a second washer/dryer.  To the left, you walk into Bedroom 4 which features 2 Queen beds and a TV.  Follow the hall to the end and you'll find Bedroom 5 with 2 Queen beds as well.  The Lower level is a wonderful place to create separate spaces if you have a large family group coming or to use the family room as a Game Room.  The family room also has a foosball table.  The basement also has an additional game room with a ping pong table.

The Driveway has plenty of parking for 6 cars and an additional driveway goes around to the basement level.  There are multiple sets of steps to the lake from the driveway, with several landings between the sets of steps.  Down on the south corner of the lakefront is a small boathouse that houses the canoe, 2 kayaks, 2 SUP's and paddle boat.  Just outside the boat house is a gravel area with a firepit...the spot you'll want to be when the night gets cooler and the sun sets.  From this gravel area you can access the dock and the water.  

Take a step up onto the large deck and there is plenty of room for everyone!  The lakefront is a sea wall with a deck built on top (can we say HUGE?!?), and a built-in seating wall along the front of the deck for additional seating but also to keep those little ones from getting into the lake on their own.  The deck has Adirondack chairs for sunbathing or watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, an outdoor dining set, and plenty of room for outdoor games.  On the north end of the deck is the small cottage/guest house.  This guest house sleeps 2 people and has windows facing out over the lake, a Queen size bed, heating and cooling via a wall unit heating/cooling system, and a full bath with shower.  Imagine waking to the sound of the lake just feet away!  The guest house is open to stay in only during the spring, summer and fall months.  

While Lake Shore Lodge is a perfect summertime home and vacation spot, it is a gorgeous place to stay in the spring when the buds are coming out on the trees and everything is greening up.  The fall months are sublime with the expansive views of the lake and all of the fall foliage.  And you can't forget the winter months!  The house has that perfect lodge feel that makes it 'oh so cozy' in the winter.  Light the gas fireplace in the Living Room and watch the snow fly!  There are many wineries within driving distance of Lake Shore Lodge, making this a great spot to stay for a weekend wine tour.

**Parking for 6 vehicles only.
**DOCK USEAGE:
This home has a seasonal dock which is not available for use from October to Mid-May.  Seasonal docks are made for loading/offloading passengers only and cannot be used to secure watercraft overnight or for any length of time.  
Guest assumes liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.

Bringing a family of 16 adults and kids of varying ages brought about many questions about the property. All questions were answered quickly and accurately. When arriving, it was determined that the coffee maker was not working and was replaced within hours.

This property fit all of our needs for a large family vacation. House was clean, well maintained and the deck area along the water is one of a kind. We were able to relax as a family, connect and enjoy each others company all while enjoying the water and activities in the water. Communication with staff was quick. We stayed as a group of 13 friends and family. The property was big enough to have privacy, but still had great gathering spaces for the whole group. Being so close to the East Bluff Marina was an added benefit - we literally walked to pick up our boat on which we spent our Saturday! We could have comfortably brought on a bigger group if we wanted. Ample food storage and a natural gas grill made food preparation and serving easy. I'll be back.

**In the event of a cancellation, it is necessary to notify Linger Hospitality as soon as possible.  Bookings cancelled at least 60 days prior to the start date of a guests stay will be refunded in full, less the processing fee (percentage of reservation) and the damage insurance ($59), if applicable. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days prior to the start date will receive 50% refund less the processing fee and damage insurance, if applicable.  Cancellations received after the 30 day time period will not receive a refund. No refunds will be made for early departures or late arrivals.  By booking, you agree to these terms and conditions of cancellation.

*A rental agreement will be sent to the guest via email immediately after booking.  This rental agreement will need to be initialed by the guest before entry can be allowed into the home.


*Check in is 4:00 P.M.    Check out at 10:00 A.M.   Check in and Check out times MUST BE PROMPT unless arrangements are made otherwise with the reservationist.

*Reservation hold payment is 50% of the reservation amount, due at the time of reservation.  Payment due in full 30 days before check in.

*Required fees include the processing fee and our hospitality fee.  The hospitality fee covers all linens for the beds, one set of towels/washcloths per guest, and toiletries for your stay as well as cleaning service and laundry service for after your departure.  All beds will be outfitted with linens before you arrive.  Beach towels are not provided.
